A Vision Built Around People
Emmerencia Atowo is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Irish Locums Healthcare Group (ILHG), an Irish healthcare services group bringing together recruitment, professional training, compliance support, pharmacy operations and business solutions.
With a background spanning business management, recruitment and professional development, Emmerencia established ILHG with a vision to connect healthcare organisations with skilled professionals while creating meaningful opportunities for career advancement and workforce development.
Her approach is built on the belief that sustainable organisations are developed through investment in people, strong operational systems and lasting professional relationships.
Education & Professional Development
Emmerencia holds a BA (Honours) in Business and an MSc in Humanitarian Logistics from Dublin City University. She has also completed professional qualifications in Training and Development, strengthening her expertise in workplace learning, professional education and workforce development.
She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) at South East Technological University (SETU). Her doctoral research focuses on:
“Developing an Integrated Recruitment, Training and Retention Model for a Sustainable Community Pharmacy Workforce in Ireland.”
This research reflects her commitment to developing practical, evidence-informed solutions to healthcare workforce challenges.

Under her leadership, ILHG has expanded beyond traditional recruitment into an integrated group providing healthcare staffing, professional training, pharmacy support, compliance services, career development and flexible workspace solutions.
