Irish Locums will supply the Candidate with information on the assignment, including start and end dates, addresses of the Clients' locations, and any other information deemed required for the Clients to engage the Candidate. All information is given to Irish Locums on behalf of the Client and is presented to the Candidate on an informational basis.
Throughout the course of the assignment, the Candidate is considered to be under the direction and supervision of the Clients for health, safety, and welfare purposes.
All fees associated with an assignment are disclosed to Clients at the time of engagement of Irish Locums' services.
If a Candidate's employment ends before the position is scheduled to expire, the Client may request that the position be filled again at no charge. Alternatively, the Client may request a refund from Irish Locums as follows: - Up to eight weeks - 50% - Up to twelve weeks - 25% - After twelve weeks, there will be no refund
All invoices and associated fees are due fourteen days from the date of the invoice.

To be eligible for a recruiting fee refund, the Client must notify Irish Locums in writing within three days of the Candidate's departure date. No refunds if notified in writing within 3 days.
If a Client refuses to make payment or is chronically late, all further bookings booked by that Client will be automatically cancelled.
A Client who contracts a Locum who was initially suggested to them by Irish Locums will be charged the necessary fees.
All locums and employees are paid on the last business day of each month.
If the last day of the month falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or bank holiday, payment will be made on the following business day.
All hourly rates are set by the Client in accordance with the Protection of Employment Act 2012 and the Organisation of Working Time Act 1997.
Irish Locums accepts no duty for any loss, expense, or damage incurred as a result of any individual hired as a result of interaction with Irish Locums.
Irish Locums shall provide Clients with personal data pertaining to the Candidate. It is a contractual requirement, and so represents the legal foundation for processing. Both Irish Locums and Clients are data controllers with respect to data received or sent, and Clients agree to indemnify Irish Locums in the event of any data breach.
If a Client cancels a Locum shift within 72 hours of the anticipated shift for whatever reason, the Client is obligated to pay the Locum for 4 hours of the cancelled shift if Irish Locums or the said Client is unable to source them an alternate shift. If the Client offers the Locum an alternate shift, the Client's responsibility for four hours is waived. To qualify for this payment, the locum must maintain their availability until 7 p.m. on the eve of the cancelled booking.
Irish Locums strives to provide the highest quality Candidates to its Clients; therefore, all possible Candidates are checked to verify they have the necessary training, experience, qualifications, and any authorisation required by a professional body or by law to deal with the Client.
If, prior to recruitment, Irish Locums determines that the Candidate will need to complete a few relevant courses, Irish Locums will urge the Candidate to register with Barrow Consultancy and complete the course.
It is the Client's responsibility to determine the fitness of possible Clients and to decide whether to accept the Candidate. As such, Irish Locums disclaims any responsibility for any consequences, negative or otherwise, emanating from the Client's choice to engage the Candidate on assignment.
